Post Description- The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, has started an online portal for passport services. People can apply for both Normal and Tatkal passports through this portal by filling out the form online. This makes the process easier and more convenient for everyone.

1. Register on Passport Seva Website
– Visit [passportindia.gov.in](http://www.passportindia.gov.in), create an account, and log in.

2. Fill Application Form
– Choose Fresh/Reissue Passport , fill in personal details, and select booklet type (36 or 60 pages).

3. Pay Fees
– Pay online and choose between Normal or Tatkal service.

4. Schedule Appointment
– Select PSK/POPSK and book a date/time.

5. Visit PSK
– Bring the Appointment Receipt and required documents (ID, address, DOB proofs).

6. Police Verification
– A police officer will visit your home for verification.

7. Track Status
– Monitor progress online or via SMS.

8. Receive Passport
– Passport will be delivered to your registered address.
