CTET Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 Online Form – Apply Online

In a recent announcement, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled the schedule of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to be held in January 2024. The application process started on November 3, 2023 and interested candidates have time till November. 27, 2023, to submit your online application. The last date for fee payment is also November 27, 2023. CTET exam is scheduled to be held on January 21, 2024.

For single paper, General/OBC category candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000, while SC/ST/PH candidates will be charged Rs. 500. Those opting for both the papers (Primary/Junior) will have to pay Rs. 1200 (General/OBC) or Rs. 600 (SC/ST/PH). Fees can be paid online only through net banking, credit or debit card.

Recruitment is open to candidates all over India, with minimum age requirement being 17 years. There is no maximum age limit specified. Applicants for Primary Stage (Class 1 to 5) must have passed 12th with at least 50% marks and must have passed the final year of 2-year D.EL.ED program or satisfy other specified criteria Needed , For the preliminary stage (classes 6 to 8), candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and satisfy the specified conditions.

Candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply online through the official website of CTET Central Board of Secondary Education. The selection process involves a written examination, and the final merit list will determine the successful candidates. Interested teachers are advised to submit their applications along with necessary documents including educational mark sheets and certificates, Aadhar Card/PAN Card, passport size photograph and signature to complete the online application process.
